Snoring Surgery

Millions of people today snore. Snoring is producing unpleasant sounds during sleeping. UPPP is laser-assisted uvulopalatoplasty (i.e. uses a laser). Under local anesthetic, parts of the uvula and soft palate are shortened with the help of the laser. The success rate is not perfect, however, with only 55% of patients showing satisfactory results.
